Bittensor Network

Bittensor is a blockchain-based network designed to support the decentralized development and interaction of machine learning models. Bittensor Subnets

Bittensor subnets are integral components of its network, serving as specialized clusters of nodes that operate under a shared framework but with distinct objectives and functionalities. The architecture of Bittensor allows for a limited number of these subnets, specifically 32, ensuring a competitive environment where each subnet's contribution is crucial.

A unique feature of subnets is the immunity period, a span of seven days post-creation, during which a subnet is not subject to deregistration regardless of its performance. This period is designed to provide a buffer for newly established subnets, allowing them time to stabilize and optimize their operations.

De Layer Subnet

De Layer is a specialized subnet within the Bittensor network that integrates Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) capabilities, bringing a new layer of utility to the ecosystem. By enabling EVM compatibility, De Layer allows for the execution of smart contracts and the utilization of Ethereum-based tools and protocols within Bittensor.

This convergence facilitates an interaction between decentralized applications and AI models. Its objective is to empower the ecosystem of decentralized applications within the Bittensor network.
